A clear view of government bills
GetTbill is a Treasury bill analytics and simulation platform. It brings official rates and auction results into one place and lets you practice managing a portfolio against them without any real money.
Why it exists
Bills are simple instruments that are quoted in an unintuitive way. A discount rate is not the return on your money, a price per 100 does not say what you earn, and comparing two countries by their headline rates is usually wrong.
GetTbill puts the official numbers next to the arithmetic that explains them, so you can see what a bill costs, what it pays and what changes if you sell it early.
What it does today
US Treasury daily rates and auction data are collected from official sources and shown with their dates. A smaller set of other markets is shown as data only or research. A full portfolio simulator runs on top of the US data, including orders, settlement, maturity, reinvestment, a ledger and statements.
The whole environment is a demonstration. Execution, balances and verification are simulated, and the server refuses to start if live trading or live payments are turned on.
How decisions get made
Show the label
Every figure says where it came from and how old it is. Simulated figures say so where they appear.
Unavailable means unavailable
When a value is missing, the page says “Unavailable”. Nothing is estimated to fill the gap.
No rankings across markets
Markets use different conventions, currencies and credit profiles, so GetTbill does not rank them.
Explain the arithmetic
Lessons and calculators use the same financial library as the order preview, so the numbers agree.
